Hi there and welcome to From The Library of Alyssa!!
My name is Alyssa and I am a self professed book worm. I’m 28 years old from a small suburb in New York. From as early as I can remember, books and reading have been some of my favorite things. My parents' favorite story of me is being between the ages of 1-5 and instead of running to a toy part of a store, I would immediately go and find the nearest bookshelf. Libraries and bookstores are my happy place. On a rainy day or any day, you can find me curled up with a good book. Here are some fun facts about me:
- I have a sister who is 2 and a half years younger than me.,
- I enjoy theatre and performing arts. I also teach theatre and performing arts as an assistant director to children in my former elementary school.
- I love Disney. My favorite characters are Belle, Jessie, Minnie, Merida, and Cinderella.
- My favorite holidays are Christmas and Thanksgiving. I love being around family.
- I was born the day before New Years Eve,
- My favorite color is purple.
- I graduated college with a degree in English literature.
- My dream career is either directing my own theatre company or running my own bookstore where people can come in and discuss their favorite books.
